"Tucked into the easygoing charm of Jane's Bistro, this spot is exactly what you want for a relaxed, satisfying lunch without any fuss. The atmosphere leans comfortably casual—welcoming, unpretentious, and perfect for slipping in after a morning at the beach or a quick outing around the island. Service feels friendly and attentive without hovering, which adds to the laid-back vibe. The standout of the meal was, without question, the shrimp appetizer. Perfectly prepared and packed with flavor, it set the tone right from the start and is something you’ll likely find yourself craving again. The cranberry chicken salad was a solid choice—fresh, lightly sweet, and nicely balanced. And for anyone looking to skip the bread, the bunless smashburger is a great alternative. It delivers all the satisfaction of a classic burger while keeping things a bit lighter, making it a welcome option beyond the usual salad-or-sandwich routine. All in all, Jane’s Bistro hits that sweet spot of quality food in a casual setting—an easy recommendation for a laid-back lunch on Hilton Head."

"We arrived about 1pm and waited 5 minutes to be seated. They were very busy for lunch the day we were there. Our server was very nice but you could tell he was a bit overwhelmed. He explained that they were busier than normal. We had hummus, garlic shrimp and chicken salad. We waited about 25 minutes to get our food. The food was good and the quality of the food was very good. This seems to be a popular place for ladies to have lunch together."

"Tried the fried chicken sandwich. Presentation looked great. Server suggested the brioche bun instead of the ciabatta bun (I think I should have stayed with ciabatta bun). Added American cheese to sandwich as well. Overall it was good, not great. Chicken was a bit dry and fries were "old". Would try again just to see if it was an off day."
