"I'm such a big fan of this Audubon Preserve. It's perfect for a quick little trip around the pond, or hours of bird watching. My husband likes to sit on a bench and read while I wander with my camera, and let me tell you, there are plenty of benches here to choose from! We saw plenty of cardinals, Chickadees, and Carolina Wren, as well as two black vultures and several gnat catchers! It's also a great spot to see a variety of wildlife, like rabbits, millipedes, and of course, Big Al the alligator! It's so well kept, and the feeders are always full. Absolutely love this place."
"Must see if you're interested in birds and/or the native ecosystem of our coasts. Informative, peaceful, walking trails are short, flat, and interconnected so even if you make a wrong turn somewhere you won't be too far from where you started. Lots of places to sit and rest. Thank you to everyone involved in establishing and maintaining this sanctuary!!!"
"Upon entry saw many birds however at a distance. You need a zoom camera or binoculars. They do like to fly away and hide. Went on the trails and saw a deer and upon leaving saw two deer. So worth a visit but it is nature and may be limited on what you see. But relaxing none the less."
